Training Team Leader

The Maggie Beer Foundation is seeking an organised, systems-minded Training Team Leader to coordinate the national delivery of education and training programs for chefs and cooks in residential aged care and community meal services.

  • The Training Team Leader is an experienced adult learning professional who leads the Training Coordinator Team and oversees the logistics, systems, scheduling and reporting that keep our national programs running smoothly.

    Working with the Project Lead, Chef Trainers and ITS Officer, you’ll help ensure participants are supported, information is accurate and program delivery stays on track.

    • Oversee training schedules, travel, venues and participant communications.
    • Lead, support and guide the Training Coordinator Team.
    • Maintain and improve operational processes and data across the LMS, Airtable, CRM and Mailchimp.
    • Support Chef Trainers and help resolve delivery issues.
    • Prepare clear reporting on program applications, participation, progress and completion.

  • We’re looking for someone with:

    • 5+ years’ experience in administration, scheduling, training operations, project coordination or a similar role.
    • Experience leading and supporting a small team.
    • Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
    • Confidence using LMS platforms, Airtable or similar databases, Excel and CRM platforms.
    • A calm, practical approach to problem-solving and managing competing priorities.

Information Technology and Support Officer [ITS]

The Maggie Beer Foundation is seeking an organised, systems-minded Training Team Leader to coordinate the national delivery of education and training programs for chefs and cooks in residential aged care and community meal services.

  • This is a hands-on, systems-thinking role. You’ll design, configure, maintain and improve our core platforms — Airtable, our CRM and LearnWorlds — while managing website and social media capability to keep systems reliable, integrated and secure.

    • Technology architecture & systems integration – Design a coherent architecture across core platforms, build automations that cut manual work, and document how everything fits together.
    • Platform administration (Airtable, CRM, LMS, Professional Community) – Own configuration, data quality, permissions and reporting for these platforms, support the new Program portal build, and provide first-line troubleshooting.
    • Website & social media platform management – Handle technical upkeep of the website and the platform side of social media, integrated with the CRM.
    • Continuous improvement & technology capability – Grow the Foundation’s digital maturity, support tech for webinars, keep staff upskilled on core systems, and monitor system performance and cost.
    • Data & analytics for program insight – Build datasets, dashboards and reporting that track program reach and impact, and integrate external data sources to support targeted communications and decision-making.
    • Governance, security & data integrity – Maintain access controls, privacy compliance, backups and disaster recovery, and escalate high-impact decisions appropriately.
    • Hands-on experience configuring and administering Airtable [or similar], a CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho or similar) and a Learning Management System [LearnWorlds or similar].
    • Experience managing a website (WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow or similar) and social media scheduling tools.
    • Strong systems thinking — you naturally map how data and processes should connect across platforms.
    • A practical, “mechanic” mindset: comfortable troubleshooting and learning new tools independently.
    • A genuine interest in improving efficiency through technology, with runs on the board to prove it.
    • The ability to explain technical ideas clearly to non-technical colleagues.
