The Maggie Beer Foundation has launched its new Community Meals Pilot Training Program, with Bundaberg District Meals on Wheels becoming the first community meal provider in Australia to take part.
Over three days, kitchen staff and volunteers received practical, hands-on training designed to enhance nutrition, flavour and food quality for older people living at home.
The pilot marks an important milestone for the Foundation as it expands its education programs beyond residential aged care and into community meal services, helping support older Australians to age well at home.
