Hospitality in Healthcare Project of the Year award 2026

The Maggie Beer Foundation’s Improving Food in Aged Care through Education and Training Program was named a State Finalist for Project of the Year at the Hospitality in Healthcare Excellence Awards.

The recognition reflects the work being delivered across the Foundation’s Trainer Mentor Program, State & Territory Hubs, online learning, Professional Community, recipes and resources. Together, these initiatives support aged care teams with practical skills, knowledge and resources to improve food and dining experiences for older people.

Congratulations to Project of the Year winner Michael Dobie from ACH Group, and to all the finalists recognised for their work across the sector.

We also thank everyone who has contributed to the Improving Food in Aged Care through Education and Training Program and helped bring it to life.
