Late in September MBF Board Member, Professor Ralph Martins, and MBF Chef Eliza Taylor joined Minister Ken Wyatt, 17 Hasluck region veterans and 3 students at La Salle College in Perth.
Together veterans, students and ministers worked together using Spudshed donated ingredients to create 6 flavour filled, nutritious MBF recipes, which were then served and shared for lunch.
The fun filled day highlighted the importance of improving and maintaining good nutritional health, social and community intergenerational interaction. Participants went home with smiles, new skills & friends, pride and a goodie bag of ingredients to recreate the recipes made.
