Enabling Meaningful Choice in Residential Aged Care Mealtimes - Survey by the University of Canberra

Have your say on mealtime choices in aged care The University of Canberra is seeking participants for a study on what makes mealtime choices acceptable for people living in residential aged care. They are looking for:
  • Family members
  • Professionals involved in mealtimes, including nurses, carers, chefs, managers, dietitians and speech pathologists
Participation involves three online surveys between April and July 2026, taking around one hour in total:
  • Survey 1 (30 minutes): share what makes mealtime choices acceptable, including what, when, where, how and who to eat with
  • Surveys 2 and 3 (15 minutes each): review and rate statements developed from the first survey
