It was so exciting to receive an email this week from Joan Lowney, Services Manager at Mercy Place, Mont Clare, WA, too good not to share!
“We have been inspired” and are passionate about food in aged care.
Mercy Health have a healthy budget of $11/resident/day and present so many beautiful dishes. Each home has a qualified chef who works with the residents to plan their weekly menu, the dishes presented daily are 5 star!
We are excited to be working to improve our vitamised meals and share some photos of this week s meals. “I am passionate about how we care for the aged and how we involve them in the meal planning etc.”
Together “We can all do this better for our ageing population.”
