The Maggie Beer Foundation has a logo with a pomegranate shown. Have you ever wondered why?
Well, we asked Maggie, and this is her response:
‘The pomegranate has a great symbolism, and I saw each aril as a seed for change. It has deep symbolism of generosity and fertility that I take as fertility of ideas and the best intentions from one heart to another.’ [An aril, also called an arillus, is a specialised outgrowth from a seed that partly or completely covers the seed.]
