What’s in Season?

You will have noticed the days slowly getting longer as we near the end of winter. Time to farewell the earthy, wholesome produce that aids us through those cold days and look ahead to the ingredients that show new life such as asparagus, artichokes, beetroot, potatoes, garlic, peas, spring greens and strawberries.

We have chosen to highlight pumpkin for one last time until next Autumn, this versatile vegetable has the true essence of earth and flavour, a perfect addition or hero to so many dishes… a Layered roast pumpkin, silverbeet and sage bake with oat bechamel. A little timely but worth the effort.

And we celebrate the sight of Spring with a Dark chocolate and beetroot brownie.
