A message to older Australians in the wake of the coronavirus (COVID-19)

On behalf of the Maggie Beer Foundation, Peter Kenny, Chair of the Board sends a message to all older Australians in the wake of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Older people know that being healthy is an important protective factor and will reduce the impact of the coronavirus.   What we eat is so important at this time because it is central to staying well and managing other medical conditions which might otherwise contribute to vulnerability. It is a wonderful way to savour life, including when we have to put up with periods of being isolated to prevent infection. The Maggie Beer Foundation challenges older Australians to try one of our recipes each week. These are easy to find on our website https://maggiebeerfoundation.org.au/recipes/
