What's in season?
As we reach the end of Autumn and head into the Winter months, we celebrate the produce that comes with the change of season. Apples, avocados, bananas are all in season now. Also look out for Brussel sprouts, cabbage, broccoli, pumpkin, potatoes, sweet potatoes, curly kale, , carrots, fennel, cauliflower, radicchio, rocket As the temperature drops and the days get shorter, we seek out comforting foods, try our Carrot, Tumeric and Coconut Soup for a delicious, flavour filled bowl of goodness Why not have a go at slow cooking some aromatic quinces, their texture is like no other and you will be surprised how easy it is. The sweet mellow flavoured pear marries to both sweet and savoury flavours, we share a recipe here for a pear and dark chocolate crumble. All these fruit and vegetables supply nutrients to the body to aid our immune system for the cooler months ahead.
